Autumn Splendour
This is a beautiful time of year. The colours are at their peak, the air is filled with freshness, and
we have good memories of our past summer, to reflect on.
Boy Scout Jamboree

Boy Scouts from all across North America held their annual jamboree in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It is
one of the largest gathering of scouts in the world. Their was plenty of fun especially the mock battle between
the red and blue coats.

2017
Fort George came to life when re-enactors stormed the field. Interpreters, re-enactors, and veterans
displayed their uniforms, weaponry, and vehicles from War of 1812, WW1, and WW2. Military manoeuvres
were displayed from each time line, to demonstrate the brute power that was used to defeat the enemy.
In the end Canada was victorious in all three wars.
Metis Camp
Brian Kon Chairman of Niagara Region Metis Council stands around all his
furs that were on display. In the background, his peers prepare traditional food.
The camp was on display in front of Fort George.
